I meant to post this awhile ago but just could not find the time to do it. I know it is a little late for this but just going to take this chance to post it.

So this is a poem made for my close friend who suffered a great loss just last week.

Hope you are holding up and know that your friends and I are here for you. Always . . . an ear to sigh to, a shoulder to cry on, open arms to embrace in . . . always . . .

We never know how much time we have left
With the ones we really love
We never know when the angel of death
Will visit us from above

We never know just where to walk
Or where to shout out loud
We never know with who we should talk
Should it be the One above the clouds

We never know when it will be over
In this time of been and gone
We never know just who it will be

To tell us what is right on the phone

We never can tell the sins from the dark
From all things that are right or wrong
We'll never see those who pick us up
And tell us it's alright in so long

We never can see the hurt
that is in your sight
But someone is always at the end of the herd
friends and family to guide us towards the light.

I guess that is it. I know everything may not be perfect right now but give it time. It will all be alright.
